After giving up the opening touchdown of the night, North Marion scored 50 straight points to leave Seaside with an impressive victory to start the season.
The Huskies surrendered a 57-yard touchdown pass to Seaside's Cameron King and were down 6-0 after the first 12 minutes, but came roaring back in the second behind the foot and hands of senior Tanner Scanlan.
The senior kicker/receiver booted a 30-yard field goal to put the Huskies on the board, then caught a pair of touchdown passes from fellow senior Hunter Martin to give North Marion a 17-6 lead heading into the locker room for halftime.
The Huskies continued to pour on the points in the third quarter, scoring five touchdowns behind the strength of their defense to put the game out of reach for the Seagulls.
Freshman Johnny Page and senior Boston Snyder each returned interceptions for touchdowns in the third, as the Huskies pulled down four interceptions on the evening.
North Marion (1-0) comes back home this Friday for their home opener against the Molalla Indians (1-0), who beat the Putnam Kingsmen 27-15 last week.
