Woodburn Independent's Athletes of the Week for Sept. 21
Tanner Scanlan, senior — Football
The senior kicker/receiver booted a 20-yard field goal and hauled in a game-high six catches for 79 yards and a touchdown from quarterback Hunter Martin in North Marion’s 21-17 loss to Gladstone on Friday.
Emma Morcom, sophomore — Volleyball
The sophomore outside hitter/middle blocker contributed nine kills, six blocks, 14 digs and two service aces combined in North Marion’s two victories last week to open the league schedule unbeaten.
