Coach Jaquez, a Woodburn native, led the Bulldogs to four league titles and four state playoff appearances during his high school career, being named first- team all-conference all four years. After graduating, he continued his education and soccer career at Chemeketa, playing two years for the Storm.

Julio began coaching his son’s youth team in Woodburn in 2003. He took the assistant coach job at North Marion in 2006 and has been a part of the Huskies program ever since. Teams have made nine state playoff appearances during his tenure with the program and one state championship.

Coach Jaquez is the proud father of three children and is married to his wife, MariaElena, who is his number one supporter.
