A 2005 graduate of North Marion, Wade received all state recognition during his baseball career as a Husky.  Murray also played basketball while at North Marion.

He moved on to Western Oregon University upon graduation, where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Health Promotion, a Minor in Business, and a Masters of Arts in teaching.  After student teaching stints, Wade is currently teaching a variety of classes including business, health, and agriculture at the high school.

Wade Murray joined the boys basketball coaching staff in 2012 as the JV2 Coach. For the 2014-2015 season, Wade assumed the role of JV Coach after Tully Wagner took over the varisty team.  Murray is also currently the Junior Varsity Baseball coach.

Wade is married to his wife, Ashley, who is the head cheerleading coach at North Marion.  The two our proud parents of their daughter, Brenna.
